Within the accounting week period of June, the number of issues withheld by First National is close to that of the previous week. The channel tends to under-represent the events that occur in anti-terrorist operations (ATO) zone and in Russian-occupied Crimea. This could be happening due to the lack of reliable information sources in these areas. At the same time, almost no serious violations of news presentation standards have been detected, and those present were not crucial.

Daily record of the issues covered by the First National Channel and the things withheld during the accounting week period:

9 June (Monday) and events of Sunday, 8 June:

As for the events in Donetsk region, on Monday the channel made a mention of the following. In Artemivsk, at night, terrorists fired at a tank base. In Donetsk armed people captured Topaz enterprise that produced radio engineering equipment. Separatists are trying to get hold of some radars and other devices and are taking them away from Topaz premises. In Donetsk contemporary art foundation ‘Isolation’ was captured by DNR representatives. Residents of Mariupol did not allow the representatives of the self-proclaimed DNR to set up a block post. Bolotov ordered that Luhansk international airport be closed.

The channel did not inform of the following events in the region. Terrorists in Torez fired at the headquarters of state rescue service, two people were killed, other two injured. Three employees of Amvrosiivkiy district department of militia were released from terrorist captivity. In Snizhne DNR terrorists captured a Pension Fund building. Three trucks full of terrorists and one APC entered Snizhne. In Artemivsk terrorists shot down a car where a military unit commander was being driven. The gunmen on KAMAZ trucks took about a hundred Russian special squad soldiers, Azov special force battalion. In Donetsk terrorists kidnapped Euromaidan activist Zhelnakov. ATO forces tightly encircled Slovyansk, terrorists are trying to break away. Out of the 8 members of the crew of the airplane shot down by terrorists over Slovyansk, three have survived – according to ATO spokesperson. In Slovyansk, an 8-year-old boy died of a missile wound. In Slovyansk terrorists are chaotically firing at residential districts. Terrorists claim that OSCE observers in Severodonetsk are kept hostages. In Luhansk region a lawyer was kidnapped by terrorists. Terrorists fired at the checkpoint Izvaryne in Luhansk region, border guards fought off the attack.

As for the events in other regions the channel did not mention the following. In Odesa people came together to honour the memory of those who perished in unrests on May 2. A bus with refugees from Donetsk region arrived in Cherkasy region. Border guards in Melitopol detained the chief of a Simferopol-Donetsk train for a batch of medication being smuggled for terrorists.

As for the events in Crimea the channel mentioned the following. Aksyonov ordered his customs officers to freely let the food from mainland Ukraine into Crimea. On the occupied territory a daily control of prices and availability of basic products has been introduced.

As for the reactions of Ukrainian authorities the following were mentioned. The Ukrainian military men who had been captured were forced to give a press conference in the presence of armed people – Seleznyov. Avakov: all the battle and patrol divisions of militia will take part in ATO in eastern Ukraine. Volunteers claim that camouflage and other items purchased for the Ukrainian army by sponsors do not reach soldiers. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine does not recognize the parliamentary elections held in South Osetia.

As for the foreign feedback on Ukrainian events the following was mentioned. Crimean Tatars of Turkey demand Crimea be returned to Ukraine. Local Crimean Tatars community do not recognize the illegal annexation of the peninsula. The fifth stage of gas negotiations between Ukraine, Russia, and the EU is taking place in Brussels. Kyiv insists on decreasing the price of Russian gas. Moscow – on paying off the debts for the consumed fuel. Serbian PM: the construction of ‘Southern Flow’ gas pipeline proceeds as scheduled.

The following reactions were not reported. NATO is working on a substantial assistance package to Ukraine - Rasmussen. The EU is not ready to let Ukraine be part of the EU – French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Among other issues it was reported that in Mykolayiv an explosion occurred in a 5-storeyed block of flats.

It was not mentioned that in Kharkiv 500 people gathered for a meeting. At Maidan people demand Lytvin be discharged from executing the duties of the Head of State Border Service of Ukraine. Maidan demands early elections to Verkhovna Rada (8 June). Representatives of law enforcement agencies sabotage the investigation of shooting down at Maidan – Moskal, head of Temporary Investigation Commission.

10 June (Tuesday):

As for the events in Donetsk region on Tuesday the channel informed of the following. In Donetsk region some terrorists fired at the water pump station. Two employees were killed – Donetsk Region State Administration. At the checkpoint Dovzhanskiy, Luhansk Region, terrorists set up a block post – the armed people check all the cars. Acting Head of Luhansk Region State Administration: some cars with armed Russian citizens were let into Ukraine at Dovszhnskiy checkpoint. Border Service spokesperson: under the inter-state agreement, if one of the countries closes its border, the other must do the same. The Russian side was informed of Dovzhanskiy checkpoint operations being suspended.

The following events in the region were not mentioned. In Donetsk region terrorists kidnapped pro-Ukrainian activist Rudiy. In Snizhne, the number of terrorist is growing – Donetsk Regional State Administration. In Donetsk region some unidentified people blew up a bridge on the motorway not far from Halytsynivka village. In Kramatorsk, as a result of shelling, the facilities of two plants were ruined. The administration of ‘Progress’ mine in Torez forced the miners to donate their one-day wages to DNR terrorists. The people who had been captured and were seen being shot down by Bezler, aka Bes, on the video spread by terrorists, in reality are alive but are still being held hostages. Border guards detained a Ukrainian who was transporting a military layout of Slovyank from the RF. In Slovyansk terrorists ruined almost all petrol stations – there is no petrol even for ambulances. In Slovyansk two children (12 and 6 years old) died of shell injuries. ATO forces brought down firing points of the terrorists in Slovyansk and Semenivka. Gunmen fired at Luhansk airfield with mortars, ATO forces fought off the attack. The Union of the Blind enterprises are being ransacked by terrorists in Luhansk.

As for the events in other regions the following was mentioned. The administration of Ivano-Frankivsk region decided not to send their military men into the ATO area until they are provided with bullet-proof vests. Soldier rations from the USA and Europe were sold by the military head of food warehouse in Mykolayiv region, he was detained by militia.

The following events were not reported. Church service to honour the memory of the perished on May 2 took place in Odesa. 56 refugees from Luhansk and Slovyansk came to Lviv region.

As for the events connected to the occupied Crimea, the following was reported. Self-proclaimed Crimean authorities are ready to pay off Crimean debts to Ukraine in the amount of almost 2 million UAH and return the equipment of Nothern Crimean Canal. In Crimea railway fares grew three times – the tickets are now sold at Russian international fares. «Ukrzaliznytsya» Ukrainian railway agency did not increase prices or altered fares for the tickets to Crimea in the last months. Occupation authorities of Crimea admit there is a food shortage crisis on the penisula. ‘Jazz Koktebel’ international music festival moved from Crimea to the town of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskiy, Odesa region.

The following events were not reported. Customs offices from occupied Crimea were transferred to Kherson. Occupation authorities of Crimea are planning to massively dismiss Crimean chief physicians.

As for the reactions of Ukrainian authorities on this day the following was reported. Poroshenko commissioned for a safe transfer of local people to be organized from ATO zone. Local authorities are obliged to set up mobile units where water, food, and medication will be available.  Koval: since the start of ATO in eastern Ukraine 42 military men have been killed, 150 injured.

The following events were not mentioned. Prosecutor general’s office declared suspicion in terrorism to Donetsk separatist leaders. Seleznyov: ATO forces will assist in safe evacuation from the east.

As for the foreign feedback, the following was mentioned. Trilateral Ukraine-Russia-EU gas negotiations have had no results so far. Lavrov: Russia will promote the dialogue in Ukraine. He named the events in eastern Ukraine ‘internal crisis’. Glazyev, advisor to the Russian President, proposes to attack the Ukrainian army before it gets stronger. An expert report for the NATO Secretary General says it is impossible to return to the strategic partnership between NATO and Russia. Nuland: there will be no US anti-missile defence system in Ukraine, the US did not fund the Maidan, the USA and G7 demand Putin not send gunmen to Ukraine and not provide them with weapons. Nuland: the USA has extra 48 million USD to help economic stabilization in Ukraine. Lagarde, Managing Director, IMF: in case Ukraine fails to manage its crisis, the development of global economy will be under a serious threat

Nuland’s statement was not reported: the USA indeed have spent 5 billion USD since 1991 on helping Ukraine with reforms, business development, honest elections, etc. Meanhwile, in Russia almost 18 billion USD have been spent.

Among other issues the channel informed of the following. The President appointed Lozhkin Head of PA, Tsegolko Spokesperson. A former advisor to Chernovetskiy will be in charge of the State Administration of Affairs. Some MPs brought 145 bullet proof vests and helmets to the Land Forces Headquarters. The explosion in Mykolayiv could have been provoked by a former convict to conceal a murder.

The channel did not mention the following. In May inflation slowed down to 2,3%. State statistics confirmed GDP decrease in Ukraine by 1.1% in the first quarter.

11 June (Wednesday):

On Wednesday the First National informed of the following events in Donetsk region. Yatsenyuk: cash for social payoffs is not being sent to Snizhne and Krasniy Luch due to the aggravation of the situation. Terrorists bury their perished in ditches next to roads. Children from Donetsk and Luhansk regions are being sent to recreation camps as far away as possible from hostilities zone. Documents and equipment return to the City and Children’s Hospitals in Donetsk. Terrorists have taken away all the machines and ‘Mandat’ military radar station from Topaz plant in Donetsk. In Slovyansk not more than 7 thousand civilians have remained. Pharamacies and food stores are closed in Slovyansk, at times there are problems with water supply. In Luhansk, former MP Tsaryov named himself ‘Head of the Federative Republic of Novorussia’ and met with the terrorist chief Bolotov. Tsaryov was persuading Ukrainian young people to refuse from serving in the Ukrainian army. Yatsenyuk: 30 million UAH will be sent to Antratsit in Luhansk region to pay pensions and social allowances.

 The following events in the region were not reported. In Torez terrorists kidnapped the Head of Investigation Dept of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Terrorists released the militia officers of Yenakievo from captivity. The Prosecutor general’s office has started a criminal lawsuit in regard to ‘Prosecutor General of DNR’. Armed terrorists have driven the Mayor of Horlivka into an unknown location. DNR terrorist No.1 Pushilin freely crossed the border with Russia and met with Zhirinovskiy in Moscow. Terrorists captured 8 militia officers as hostages and got hold of a patrol car in Yenakievo. In Dmytrivka, Donetsk region terrorists took the border with Russia under control and captured a post office. In Donetsk militia registered three instances of kidnappings committed by terrorists. In Donetsk, the criminal situation is worsening, cars are being forcefully taken away from people, citizens are being robbed in the streets – Mayor of Donetsk. Separatists in Donetsk have robbed a charity foundation. In Slovyansk fresh water supply has been suspended – State Sanitary Service. Terrorists attacked the Luhansk airport with mortars, special troops fought off the attack.

As for the events in other regions the channel reported the following. Four suits to Kyiv District Court were brought by several Odesa residents regarding the investigation of manslaughter on May 2. Claims were filed against Yatsenyuk, Avakov, and Turchinov. National Guard fighters who had returned from the east picketed the Cabinet of Ministers demanding they be recognized as participants of hostilities and a salary be set for them. In Kyiv, FC Dynamo fans have set up a special post where any help for ATO troops is accepted.

As for the events connected to the occupation of Crimea, the following was reported. Illegitimate members of Crimean parliament accepted the resignation of Temirgaliev, first Deputy PM. The Crimean occupational government rendered local ‘samooborona’ fighters a status of ‘people’s squad’. On 14 September, elections to illegitimate parliament are to be held in Crimea. «Russian railway» increased train fares from Crimea to mainland Ukraine 7 times.

The following events were not reported. Russian long distance drivers threaten to block a motorway in Crimea due to a significant price rise for the Kerch ferry. Crimean residents are obliged by occupational authorities to pay a high tax for accommodating tourists. Self-proclaimed Crimean PM complains that humanitarian aid has been stolen.

As for the reaction of Ukrainian authorities to the events the following has been reported. National Guard spokesperson: all the military officers will be given special records with the indication of the locations where they took part in military operations. Ukrainian railway: special lounges at railway stations are ready for migrants from eastern Ukraine. In Brussels trilateral negotiations have finished. Ukraine and Russia have failed to reach an agreement on gas issue. «Naftogaz» will bring a lawsuit to the Court of Arbitration in Stockholm. Ukraine refused from a discount for the Russian gas and insists on the 286 USD price.

The following reactions were not reported. Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Russia goes on letting gunmen and weapons into Ukraine. ‘Donbass’ battalion is setting up their own information agency to counterbalance Russian propaganda. Koval: everything in as far as possible is done to avoid victims in ATO. Seleznyov: Ukrainian military officers check those who leave the ATO zone. Yanukovych, former SBU and Defence Ministry officers revealed confidential information to the RF – advisor to Avakov. The Cabinet of Ministers is to send the 575 million UAH saved during elections for army needs. The introduction of martial law in Donetsk and Luhansk regions is not on the agenda– Defence Ministry. In Donetsk region 10 hospitals are out of operation, in Slovyansk and Kramatorsk ambulances have difficulties with their work – Health Ministry.

As for the foreign reactions on this day the following was not mentioned. The Eurocommissioner Oettinger stated a price less than 385 USD as acceptable gas price for Ukraine. Lavrov, in his conversation with OSCE Secretary General, admitted that Russia provides ‘humanitarian aid’ to eastern Ukrainian separatists. World famous cinema directors made an address to Putin urging to guarantee safety of Sentsov, a director of photography. RF State Duma Speaker accused Ukraine of having annexed Crimea, by that forgetting about the results of the Soviet Union December 1991 referendum.

Among other issues it was reported that MP Lozinskiy, convicted for hunting humans, had been released from prison due to the ‘state of his health’. It was not reported that Firtash’s people in cooperation with State Property Fund are wrecking ‘Sumyhimprom’ privatization auction.

12 June (Thursday):

On Thursday as for the events in Donetsk region the following was reported. DNR gunmen captured a bus with orphan children from Snizhne. 16 orphans of Snizhne were forcefully transported to Russia, other 9 managed to break away at the Russian border. Donetsk Regional State Administration: the Snizhne children and their teachers were forced to cross the border with Russia. Transporting the orphans of Snizhne to Russia was qualified as an international kidnapping. Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a note to Russia – there were no documents which would permit children’s transportation abroad. In Kramatorsk, DNR terrorists will not allow physically impaired kids to be taken away from an orphanage. A battle is going on nearby Snizhne. Tymchuk: in Snizhne there are heavy military machines of the neighbouring country. Poroshenko conducted a meeting with law enforcements chiefs as for the events in Donetsk region. Former MP Tsaryov announced wanted by Prosecutor general’s office, had a meeting with terrorists in Donetsk. He was driven to Donetsk by a RF State Duma member.

The channel did not mention the following events in the region. The President’s Children’s Ombudsman: the Snizhne children are being kept by Russian border guards. The National Guard claim they have detained Mariupol’s self-proclaimed mayor. Horlivka mayor –with the stamp of the city administration – is held hostage by terrorists. Kramatorsk residents are leaving the town en masse. Due to the defects of the pump station, some places in Donetsk region get water twice a day, while in Kostyantynivskiy rayon water is being brought in in barrels. ATO forces in Slovyansk destroyed a sniper’s firing position who was gunshooting a block-post. The military fought off the terrorists attacking a Kremenna block-post in Luhansk region. Lysychansk city council say no one has declared independence in their town. In Severodonetsk, terrorists captured the military registration office building. Tsaryov cannot be arrested in Luhansk – acting Governor.

As for the events in other regions the following was mentioned. In Kyiv, rally participants assaulted the building of State Border Service demanding to dismiss the Head of the Service. Students of National Academy of Internal Affairs were sent for training to a training facility nearby Kyiv. The Ukrainian army can receive the first samples of the Ukrainian sniper gun developed at Kyiv plant ‘Mayak’.

The following was not reported. 449 children left for Odesa region from Luhansk region orphanages. In Melitopol, Zaporizhya region, SBU detained a DNR recruiter.

As for the events in Crimea the following was not reported. Because of RF regulations, prisoners who suffer from AIDS were left without treatment. Minister of Education: in Crimea parents refuse to take their children from Ukrainian language classes. Dzhemilev expressed hope that Poroshenko will manage to return Crimea to Ukraine. Dzhemilev: Crimean occupants do not succeed in getting Medzhlis to cooperate with them, so there is a possibility the organization can be prohibited.

As for the reactions of Ukrainian authorities to the events the following was reported. National Guard officers obtain a status of hostilities participants after all the necessary documents are ready – Parubiy. Avakov threatens criminal responsibility to the activists who are blocking the building of State Border Service. Poroshenko’s proposal as for the peaceful settlement of the conflict in the east of Ukraine has been sent to Moscow. Poroshenko and Putin had a phone conversation and discussed the steps which it would be necessary to take to cease fire in eastern Ukraine – President’s press service.

The following reactions were not reported. In his phone conversation with Putin, Poroshenko stated that crossing the Ukrainian border by Russian tanks is inadmissable. Poroshenko’s first official visit will be paid to Brussels – Deschytsya. Several Russian tanks and and armoured personnel carriers crossed the Ukrainian border – Аvakov. The military captured an armoured KAMAZ truck of the terrorists, identical vehicles are produced by Russia for its army. The Prosecutor general’s office initiated a criminal lawsuit against ‘DNR Prosecutor General’ suspected of terrorism. The Office of the UN High Commissoiner for Refugees: about 10 thousand inhabitants of Donetsk and Luhansk regions left their homes, most of them moved to other Ukrainian regions.

As for the foreign reactions, the following was not reported. Head of Gazprom says that starting from 16 June Ukraine will have to pre-pay for the gas. Lavrov claims the separatists in the east of Ukraine are ready for ceasefire but demands Kyiv be the first to do it. A group of Moscovites gathered a meeting for the independence of Ukraine from ‘Putin’s Pussia’. Russia aimed strategic bombers at NATO borders. Russia initiated a criminal lawsuit against the Ukrainian National Guard. Germany accused Russia of spying because of the conflict with Ukraine.

Among other issues the channel informed of the following. Lozinskiy was sent back to prison. The Ukrainian judicial system is to be reformed as soon as possible – Poroshenko’s commission to those in charge. The Prosecutor general’s office appealed Lozinskiy’s release and is running an investigation. Lozinskiy was released by the judge who had deprived Avtomaidan activitists of their driving licences and was in charge of Vyacheslav Chornovol’s death case.

The following was not reported. The Ministry of Justice believes the judge who released Lozinskiy from prison rendered a deliberately unlawful decision. «Ukrzaliznytsia» launches high speed trains produced in Ukraine. The Prosecutor General’s office resumed the case of composer Ivasyuk’s death.

13 June (Friday):

As for the events in Donetsk region on this day the channel reported the following. The Ministry of Defence: one person died, two injured as a result of firing at the town of Dobropillya, Donetsk region. The terrorists passed themselves for National Guard troops, while the firing was conducted with two ‘Grad’ volley fire facilities. The Snizhne orphan children, who were driven to Russia by terrorists, are returning to Ukraine. A special operation of ATO is finished in Mariupol: 40 terrorists captured, terrorist base stations are taken under control. After the liberation of Mariupol from terrorists President Poroshenko commissioned Taruta with temporary transferring the Regional State Administartion office to Mariupol. Acting Head of Luhansk Regional State Administration: a battle at Dyakove Village has been in progress for over 24 hours. In Luhansk region, a state register has been closed for notaries. LNR terrorists stated that the enterprises which refuse to surrender to them will be nationalised.  About 5 a.m. in the village of Makarove, 20 km away from Luhansk, a fight between invaders and the National Guard occurred.

The following events in the region were not reported. In Rubizhne terrorists stole 10 cars from an impound lot. DNR terrorists leader Pushilin admitted he received directions from Russian politicians in Moscow. In the aftermath of a terrorist car explosion next to Donetsk Regional State Administration three people died. DNR terrorists set up shooting with LNR terrorists in Luhansk, one of the gunmen was killed.

As for the events in other regions it was not reported that in Sumy region SBU detained a car with a batch of separatist newspapers.

As for the events connected to the occupation of Crimea, the following was not mentioned. In Simferopol, a mosque was pelted with ‘Molotov cocktails’ and painted over with Nazi symbols. Crimean Tatar Medzhlis is asking the UN and OSCE for help: in Crimea people are being kidnapped without a trace.

As for the reactions of Ukrainian authorities, the following was reported. Heraschenko, an advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs: the state border with Russia will be totally blocked by Ukrainian law enforcement entities. Kolomoyskiy proposed to have a fence constructed at the border with Russia at his own expense. Yatsenyuk commissioned the responsible officials with getting ready for the gas switchoff, Ukraine brings a suit against Gazprom. Yatsenyuk gave an extra task to the National Regulatory Commission in Energetics to calculate economically sensible fares for the transit of the Russian gas through the territory of Ukraine.

The following reactions were not reported. There will be no filtration camps for migrants – ombudsman Lutkovska. Ukraine filed a claim to the European court as for the returning of the orphan children kidnapped by Russia. The Ministry of Defence promises to fully provide ATO troops with bullet proof vests within 10 days. The Ministry of Internal Affairs: the humanitarian corridor for people leaving the hostilities zone can be set up from Slovyansk towards Krasniy Lyman in Donetsk region.

As for the foreign reactions the following was reported. Miller: a gas price of 385 USD for 1 thousand m3 is the last proposition for Ukraine. Russian gas prices are of a political nature and have nothing to do with economically grounded cost – stated Head of RF Antimonopoly Committee, Artemyev, at the RF Government Session. Putin started to refute the statement.

The following reactions were not reported. The Russian Ombudsman is not aware of the number of Russian citizens who died in Donetsk region, she mentions ‘several cases’. NATO Secretary General expressed anxiety over the information about Russian tanks in Ukraine. The EU granted 250 million Euro of non-repayable aid to Ukraine.

Among other issues the following was reported. ‘Praviy Sektor’ and ‘Samooborona Maidanu’ representatives picketed the Prosecutor general’s office, demanding the resignation of the Prosecutor of Kyiv. The Prosecutor’s Office made public a list of top officials whose actions could lead to manslaughter and violation of human rights at Maidan: Yanukovich, Zakharchenko, Pshonka, Lukash, Portnov, Berkut special forces chiefs, MPs of the Party of Regions. Makhnitskiy: the 11 suspects who insolently kidnapped Maidan activists Verbytskiy and Lutsenko have been identified. No noisy celebrations or fireworks were set up in Holovanivsk in connection to Lozinskiy’s release.

The following events were not reported. The Prosecutor general’s office does not have direct evidence of Federal Security Service involvement into shooting down the Maidan. The Prosecutor’s Office addressed FBI with a request to conduct an examination of the footage from the shooting down locations at Maidan. Ministry of Internal Affairs officials are interfering with the investigation of mass killing at Maidan – Makhnitskiy. Activists picketed the Presidential Administration with lustration law demands.

14 June (Saturday):

On Saturday, as for the events in Donetsk region the channel informed of the following. In Mariupol terrorists shot down from an ambush a pack of border guard cars, 5 people killed, 7 injured. In Luhansk terrorists brought down an IL-76 aircraft, 49 Ukrainian military officers died. Seleznyov: when the IL-76 was making a landing approach over Luhansk airport, it was shot down with three shots from a portable anti-aircraft facility. The shooting facility was several kilometers away so the terrorists were not detained. Тymchuk: in the terrorist ambush nearby the Luhansk airport was found the weapon that shot down the Ukrainian IL-76 carrier, as well as empty cans left after Russian tinned food. LNR terrorists took uponthemselves the responsibility for the shot down aircraft. The Prosecutor general’s office is investigating the case of the brought down Ukrainian plane as a terrorist act. The Ministry of Regional Development promised to give flats to the families of the military officers who perished in Luhansk.

 The following events in the region were not reported. The Ukrainian military found the proof of its belonging to the Russian army in the ‘Grad’ volley fire facility left by terrorists nearby Dobropillya. In Avdiyivka terrorists kidnapped a Ukrainian army officer. The Snizhne orphan children who were earlier forcefully taken to Russia are now at Kriviy Rih. Terrorist Bezler has war prisoners chained to the roofs in Horlivka ‘to be protected from air strikes’. Military troops fought off an attempt of two terrorist automobile packs to break through into Kharkiv region on Slovyansk-Izum motorway. SBU detained a leader of Mariupol terrorists who was planning an escape to Belorus. The town of Schastya in Luhansk region was freed from terrorists. In Luhansk region, Russian border guard groundlessly detained a ‘Hromadske TV’ journalist.

As for the events in other regions the following was reported. There were protests at the Russian Embassy in Kyiv against Russian tanks entering the Ukrainian territory and against bringing down the IL-76 carrier. The picketers pelted the building with eggs and spilled zelyonka (green antiseptic) over it. The diplomatic cars were turned over near the Embassy building, the windows were broken. An explosion device was found and de-activated near the building of the Presidential Administration in Kyiv.

As for the events connected to the occupation of Crimea, the following was reported. The Day of Sebastopol is being celebrated in Crimea. Some Crimean residents sporting vyshyvanka shirts symbolically got rid of the Russian flag nearby the Russian Embassy in Kyiv.

As for the reactions of Ukrainian authorities to the events the following was reported. Poroshenko: the SBU anti-terrorist centre failed to secure the air carrier. The President is waiting for a detailed analytic report on the causes of the catastrophe from Head of SBU Nalyvaychenko, as well as personnel propositions regarding the liability of Anti-terrorist centre management. According to the President, the families of the perished will get 610 thousand UAH each as a compensation. Poroshenko announced 15 June a day of grief over the military who died in the east of Ukraine I the course of ATO. Poroshenko: Ukrainian  military and border guards blocked 248 km of the Ukrainian-Russian border. Koval reported that in the course of the last 24 hours in ATO zone over 250 gunmen had been annihilated. Many of them are Russian citizens. The Ministry of Energetics: Kyiv is getting ready for trilateral gas negotiations. The Ministry of Defence: 177 injured in ATO are now in military hospitals.

The following issues were not reported. SBU transferred the evidence of the Communist Party crimes to the Ministry of Justice. The Ministry of Defence: 212 State Space Agency officers were fired for their refusal to get mobilised into the army.

As for the  foreign feedback on Ukrainian events the following was mentioned. NATO made public some satellite photos that confirm Russian tanks entering the Ukrainian territory. The US Department of State confirmed there are Russian tanks in Donetsk region. The UN representative of the Russian President said in his speech at the General Assembly that the Ukrainian side violated the Russian border  on the early morning of 13 June. Lavrov and Kerry discussed the situation in eastern Ukraine over the phone.

The following was not reported. Merkel mentioned she was shocked by the news of the brought down air carrier in the east of Ukraine. The EU Secretary General is shocked by the death of the Ukrainian military in Luhansk. The European court requires explanations regarding the kidnapping of Ukrainian orphans from Russia not later than 17 June. The US  Department of State refuted the information regarding Ukraine’s use of phosphoric bombs. The UN spoke of Russia as a terrorism supplier – Ukraine’s permanent representative. British Head of Foreign Office called the Russian tanks in Ukraine as ‘totally inadmissable’. Barrozu made an appeal to Putin to stop the flow of weapons and gunmen into Ukraine.

Among other issues the following were not mentioned. The Ministry of Internal Affairs refutes the Prosecutor’s Office’s statement regarding the former’s inhibition of mass killing investigation at Maidan. Former Prosecutor Pshonka has Russian citizenship (14 June).
